THANK YOU and The 5th Question for your Seder

Dear BFL Families,

We want to wish each of you a safe, healthy, and joyous Passover! This is far from the first Passover that Israel or the Jewish People have celebrated under difficult conditions, yet we have always found a way to find joy in the holiday and each other.

This is also an opportunity for all of us in Israel to thank each of you for your love and support of our 1,000 injured soldiers and their families. We love you and thank you for enabling BFL to help so many soldiers reclaim their lives.

I’m so proud to share that a few days ago we provided emergency financial aid of $100,000 to almost 170 BFL soldiers and their families who are in financial need due to losing their employment.  It was so wonderful to be able to help so many right before Pesach.  Below I wanted to share two of the notes that I received this week from members.

Dear Brothers for life family,

The Coronavirus economic crisis has devastated millions, and I could have never imagined it will reach to our doorstep. In a time of distress when we were desperate for help, and I  didn’t know how to resolve my financial trouble or who I could turn to my brothers were there!!  I would like to thank you with all of my heart for sending us financial help, and for your perfect timing: right before the holiday.

I have never been in such a crazy situation, where we are living in complete uncertainty that has shaken our family to the core.  I so appreciate your amazing help, and we did not expect this at all.

Thank you so much! It truly saved me.

We are constantly amazed each time by the strength and support of Brothers for Life. There is no organization like you in the world!

May G-d bless you today and always. Amen.

Robi S.

We want to thank you with all of our hearts for the help. It’s so good to know that in the midst of this global crisis that everyone is trying to deal with, you remember and help us.  The Coronavirus completely disabled our business. My wife and I are home with our four children. Social Security is not able to help at all and it really lifts our hearts that you remember us in this difficult we find ourselves in.

Thank you with all of our heart, Hag Sameach

The Beka Family

We have received notes like this from many of our soldiers. I don’t know how to express what it is like to read them other than that it is humbling.

Again from all of us in Israel, Happy Passover. May your family celebrate and sing like never before, and next year may it be in person and in Jerusalem!

In Gratitude,

Yaniv

P.S. As you know as we sit down to the first Seder there will be thousands of IDF soldiers guarding the borders of Israel. We have attached a special insert for your Pesach Haggadah’s that includes the prayer we say each week that they may also be safe.
