Our soldiers say without hesitation that delegation trips to host communities have changed their lives the most. During the delegation the soldiers bond with each other and their host families, heal through group therapy sessions, educate the local community, and participate in a physical challenge that helps them overcome their fears. Many have life-changing realizations about their lives and gain a renewed enthusiasm to dream big about their futures. Soldiers who stay with host families often create relationships that become lifelong friendships. We thank all of our host families and their Jewish communities for allowing us this transformative experience.
