Melbourne Delegation

Description:
For 10 days, families of Melbourne will welcome former Israeli soldiers into their homes. Although none of the soldiers served in the same battalion, they share one thing in common—all were injured in battle. These soldiers will benefit from the healing love of their host families and of their fellow brothers. In turn, the families gain appreciation and insights into the sacrifice that the soldiers have made for the State of Israel and the Jewish people. There are no words to describe the strong bonds that form between the soldiers and their host families. In addition to spending time in the homes of their host families, the soldiers will meet with community members and schools, attend workshops, gather for dinners, and go on excursions in and around Melbourne throughout the week.
